Craft’n’Cook Saturday: Tropical Wedding Punch

So, as I mentioned earlier this week, my sister-in-law got married last Saturday. She had a 1920s Afternoon Tea theme for her wedding and reception. I was tasked with the job of baking my Honey-Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cookies and making the wedding punch. I found a punch recipe on Pinterest and made some alterations…and it was a HIT!

So…here’s the recipe I used:

Non-Alcoholic Tropical Wedding Punch: serves 12 +

  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • 3 1/2 cups cranberry juice
  • 3 cups lemonade
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 3 cups apple juice
  • 3 cups gingerale
  • Sliced strawberries, oranges, & blueberries to add infusion & color.
  • **Other optional ingredients for extra flavor: Wine (Scuppernong, Moscato, Sangria, Muscadine varieties), Crushed peppermint

You can get large gallon- (or more) sized containers of these juices.

The cranberry juice gives it a nice tart flavor, the lemonade, pineapple & orange juices add some sour, & the apple juice adds some extra sweet. The gingerale just gives it a nice, sparkly kick. Seriously, this was a hit at the wedding. We had a HUGE punch container- one of the ones that has an empty core you can put ice in to keep the beverage cold without watering it down. It probably holds at least 3 gallons of beverage…and I had to refill it two or three times.

You want a great non-alcoholic punch at your baby, bridal shower, or wedding? This is the way to go.
